One of the greatest modern dance companies going, Alvin Ailey's American Dance Theater is coming to Toronto for a limited run at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. I can remember seeing Alvin Ailey tours when I was a very young dancer in San Francisco, and "Revelations", the piece above, is still one of the most moving things I have ever seen onstage. If you have never seen Alvin Ailey, or if it has just been a while then be sure not to miss them while they are in town for four performances February 2nd - 4th. Click here for ticket information.
